Srinagar, Feb. 19 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar, Thursday, welcomed the decision of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to drop the proposed 1,324-kanal battalion camp plan near Dachigam National Park in Srinagar.

Sagar described the development as a positive and reassuring step toward protecting the fragile ecosystem surrounding the picturesque Brain-Nishat landscape. He said the green heritage of Srinagar is not merely a stretch of land, but a shared legacy that must be preserved and protected for future generations.
