Baramulla, Oct. 6 -- The Education Department has initiated the installation of RO water purifiers and CCTV cameras in government schools across the Wagoora-Kreeri constituency under the District Capex Budget 2026-27 and the Constituency Development Scheme (CDS).
According to an official communication from the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Baramulla, the tendering process for both projects has been completed through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.
Officials said RO water purifiers will be installed in 29 schools at an estimated cost of Rs.18.71 lakh. The contract has been awarded to M/S Sabs Enterprises.
