Jammu, April 27 -- The J&K Relief Organisation has rejected a news report published in a local daily regarding ration distribution under the Special Relief Ration Scheme for Kashmiri/Jammu migrants, terming it "incomplete" and "misleading."
In an official clarification, the organisation stated that the report creates "unwarranted propaganda" and does not reflect the actual implementation of the scheme.
According to the department, ration distribution is being carried out by the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department in line with the Special Relief Ration Scheme for Kashmiri Migrants, as notified under Government Order No. 15-JK(FCS&CA) of 2026 dated March 5, 2026.
