JAMMU, March 10 -- A delegation of the Kashmir RDD Vendors' Association on Tuesday called on Minister for Rural Development Department, Javid Ahmed Dar and raised issues related to pending payments for works executed by vendors between 2017 and 2020.

During the meeting, the delegation apprised the Minister of the difficulties being faced by vendors due to delay in release of payments for works carried out under various Rural Development Department projects during the period.

The members requested that the Minister intervene to ensure prompt clearance of pending dues, noting that many vendors are facing financial stress due to prolonged delays.
