Jammu, Nov. 2 -- Minister for Tribal Affairs, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, and Transport, Javed Ahmed Rana, on Monday reviewed the progress of Jal Shakti and Irrigation and Flood Control works in Mendhar constituency of Poonch district, stressing the need for timely completion, quality execution and effective monitoring of developmental projects.
The minister chaired a review meeting at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu to assess the functioning and progress of the two departments, with particular focus on the implementation of ongoing works, their physical and financial progress, and scheme-wise utilisation of funds.
