JAMMU, April 3 -- A delegation of Contractors Co-ordination Committee (CCC) called on Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana and apprised him of issues related to the release of pending payments under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Jammu & Kashmir.
The delegation submitted that contractors across the Union Territory are experiencing delays in the settlement of work bills. They requested the Minister's intervention for early signing of the reform-linked MoU and timely release of funds so that pending liabilities are cleared and execution of vital public works continues smoothly.
