RAMBAN, Nov. 6 -- District Magistrate Mohammad Alyas Khan has imposed a one-way traffic system for commercial passenger vehicles and load carriers in Ramban town for two months or until further orders, whichever is earlier, to ease congestion and ensure public safety.
Under the order issued on Thursday, commercial vehicles, including Sumos, buses, mini-buses, Ecos and load carriers, will enter the town through Shan Palace Naka and proceed via Bowli Bazar, T-Chowk, Bus Stand and Cafeteria Chowk.
The Bus Stand will not be accessible to commercial vehicles from the Cafeteria Chowk end, which has been designated exclusively as the exit point. Loading and unloading of goods vehicles along the notified stretches will also remain prohibited betw...
