Srinagar, May 12 -- The Meteorological Department on Monday forecast light to moderate rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds across Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday and advised people to suspend boating and farm operations during the period.

According to the MeT Department, weather conditions remained generally cloudy across many places on Monday with intermittent spells of rain and thundershowers.

The department said similar weather conditions are expected to continue on Tuesday with one or two spells of light to moderate rain and thundershowers likely at most places across the Union Territory.
