Srinagar, July 31 -- The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Kashmir has apprehended a Punjab-based drug peddler and recovered 100 grams of heroin from his possession at Lasjan, Nowgam, Srinagar, police said Thursday.
It said acting upon specific information regarding the movement of a drug peddler carrying narcotic contraband, a team of ANTF launched a targeted operation at Lasjan flyover and arrested one Lovepreet Singh, son of Balbir Singh of Sunder Nagar Mustafa-abad, Batala, Amritsar, Punjab. Heroin weighing 100 grams was recovered from his possession.
