Srinagar, July 10 -- Properties worth about Rs 1.05 crore belonging to two alleged drug peddlers were attached here on Thursday under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, police said.

As part of the ongoing 'Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan', the action was carried out by Rainawari police station, police spokesperson said.

He said the first attached property belongs to Zahoor Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Tujgari Mohalla, Nowhatta.

The attached property comprises a three-storeyed residential house constructed on five marlas of land with an estimated market value of approximately Rs 65 lakh, he added.
