Srinagar, June 2 -- Police in Anantnag, in coordination with the civil administration, demolished a commercial structure belonging to a "notorious drug peddler" in the Batengoo area of Anantnag.
A police spokesperson said the action was carried out against Nazir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Batengoo, who is involved in narcotics-related activities. During the operation, one shop structure situated at Batengoo and belonging to the said drug peddler was demolished by Police in the presence of the Tehsildar Anantnag and other concerned officials.
