India, Oct. 9 -- The daily reportage about arrests of drug peddlers, seizure of properties and recovery of contraband substances is alarming and also indicative of the very fact that Jammu and Kashmir is replicating the 2016 Bollywood movie Udta Punjab, as the drug trade seems to be on the rise despite the Police and other law-enforcing agencies making all efforts to deal with the crisis.

The reports received on Wednesday suggested how widespread the menace is and raised alarms to awaken society as a whole to join this war, the war against drug trafficking and abuse.
