PM congratulates Indian contingent on Commonwealth Games performance
New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the Indian contingent for its performance at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where the country finished with 39 medals, including 13 gold medals.
In a message posted on X, the Prime Minister said he was proud of the contingent's performance and congratulated all the medal winners.
He said Indian athletes displayed exceptional skill, determination and dedication throughout the Games and expressed confidence that their achievements would inspire young sportspersons across the country.
The Prime Minister also conveyed his best wishes to the entire contingent for future competitions and expressed hope that they would continue to bring laurels to the country....
