Srinagar, April 29 -- As opposition PDP on Tuesday staged a protest against the Jammu and Kashmir government for removing Urdu as a mandatory language in the revenue records, and said the move will have "far-reaching cultural consequences", NC said that no such decision has been made by the government.
Led by Iltija Mufti, the People's Democratic Party workers assembled at Sher-e-Kashmir Park here to protest the government's alleged decision to remove Urdu from the list of mandatory languages in revenue records.
