Over 90% candidates appear in NMMSS exam
Jammu, July 11 -- Around 90.3 per cent of enrolled candidates appeared in the National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) Examination 2025-26 conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).
According to an official statement, 6,000 of the 6,644 enrolled candidates took the examination, registering an attendance of 90.30 per cent.
The examination was conducted under the Centrally Sponsored National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme of the Government of India for meritorious students from economically weaker sections studying in government and government-aided schools.
