Srinagar, Sept. 23 -- On the second day of Autom, the upper reaches of famed tourist resort Gulmarg received including Affarvat peak received fresh snowfall.

As the weather conditions changed Tuesday afternoon and some areas received rains, Gulmarg peaks witnessed fresh snowfall.

Earlier, as per India Meteorological Department's daily weather bulletin, Gulmarg recorded a maximum temperature of 21.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 7.5 degrees Celsius during the past 24 hours.

The maximum temperature was 2.7 degrees Celsius above normal, while the minimum was 0.4 degrees below normal.
