SRINAGAR, Sept. 28 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday informed the Legislative Assembly that no eligible household has been finally rejected or deleted from the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) beneficiary selection process, and that the inclusion of beneficiaries is being carried out in accordance with Government of India guidelines.

Replying to a question raised by MLA Mian Mehar Ali, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Javid Ahmad Dar said PMAY-G is aimed at providing pucca houses with basic amenities to eligible rural households, particularly those living in kutcha and dilapidated houses.
