India, Oct. 27 -- Senior National Conference (NC) leader and Member of Parliament from Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, Mian Altaf Ahmad Larvi on Sunday said that no meaningful political or administrative progress has taken place in Jammu and Kashmir since the formation of the new government.

"There have been no positive steps on political issues in J&K since this government took charge," Altaf said, while speaking at the 4th Halla Bol Conclave here, hinting at his support for fellow party leader Aga Ruhullah Mehdi's criticism of the NC government's failure in upholding its 2024 poll promises.
