ANANTNAG, Oct. 13 -- National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) member Dr. Asha Lakra on Tuesday reviewed the implementation of tribal welfare schemes, developmental programmes and infrastructure projects in Anantnag district, directing officials to ensure time-bound delivery of benefits to eligible Scheduled Tribe (ST) beneficiaries.
The review meeting, held at the Deputy Commissioner's office complex, assessed the progress of welfare initiatives, implementation challenges and measures needed to improve access to government schemes and safeguards for tribal communities.
