Srinagar, Nov. 8 -- National Conference Additional General Secretary and Member of Parliament Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan on Sunday welcomed the provision of 25 per cent reservation for local residents in admissions and employment in private universities to be established in Jammu and Kashmir.

Describing the provision as a commendable initiative, Ramzan said it would create greater opportunities for local students and job seekers while strengthening the region's higher education sector.
