SHOPIAN, Sept. 23 -- The National Conference (NC) on Wednesday held a one-day convention of party workers and office-bearers in Shopian to discuss organisational matters and public issues facing the district.
The meeting, held at the Circuit House, was presided over by NC Additional General Secretary and Rajya Sabha member Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan. Provincial President Showkat Ahmed Mir, Zainapora MLA Showkat Hussain Ganie and other party leaders were also present.
According to the party, the convention focused on strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level, improving coordination among party workers and addressing issues concerning residents of Shopian.
