JAMMU, July 3 -- Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President (Jammu) Ratan Lal Gupta on Friday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of running a misinformation campaign to divert public attention from what he described as its unfulfilled commitments, particularly the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's statehood.
Addressing newly nominated women office-bearers of the District Jammu Urban Women's Wing at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Gupta alleged that the BJP had failed to fulfil the promises on which it sought the people's mandate.
