Baramulla, May 15 -- MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah on Thursday visited several hailstorm-affected villages in the constituency to assess damage caused to crops and apple orchards.
During the tour, the MLA visited Chichlora, Lalpora, Yal, Somin, Chukar and Baharampura villages and interacted with residents and farmers affected by the recent hailstorm.
He expressed solidarity with the affected families and assured them of full administrative support.
Farooq Ahmad Shah directed concerned officers to conduct a comprehensive village-wise assessment of losses and ensure timely relief and compensation to affected growers and farmers.
