SRINAGAR, June 19 -- Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology and Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, along with Minister for Agriculture Production and Rural Development, Javid Ahmad Dar, on Thursday reviewed the irrigation scenario in Ganderbal district with a special focus on water availability in tail-end areas.

The Ministers took note of complaints from farmers and residents regarding inadequate irrigation facilities in several parts of the district, particularly in tail-end regions, and directed the concerned officers to undertake a detailed assessment of the situation.
