SRINAGAR, March 16 -- Several ministers today extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr, highlighting the spiritual significance of the sacred night and urging people to pray for peace, harmony and prosperity.
Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, said that Shab-e-Qadr marks the night when Almighty Allah revealed the Holy Qur'an to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for the guidance of mankind. She said the blessed night offers an opportunity to seek Allah's mercy and blessings and called upon citizens to remember the less privileged and extend help to those in need, reflecting the true spirit of Ramadan.
