Srinagar, May 20 -- The India Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecast light rain, thundershowers, gusty winds and possible hailstorms at scattered to many places across Jammu and Kashmir till May 21.

An official of the Meteorological Department told Kashmir News Observer that weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy during the period, with spells of light rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds mainly during afternoon and evening hours.

According to the advisory, thunder, lightning and gusty winds with speeds of 40-50 kmph are likely at a few places in both Kashmir and Jammu divisions between May 19 and 21.
