Srinagar, July 23 -- Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday reviewed ongoing relief efforts in the districts hit by heavy rains, flash floods and landslides, and assessed the ground situation in affected areas.

"I spoke with senior officials today to assess the ground situation in districts affected by heavy rains, flash floods, and landslides across Jammu Kashmir," the L-G said in a post on X.

He said during the review, he was briefed on ongoing relief efforts by district administrations, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), police, Army, Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), besides health, public works and Jal Shakti departments.
