Srinagar, Oct. 28 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday felicitated officers and personnel of the Special Security Force (SSF) for their role in ensuring security arrangements during the 100-day Drug-Free Jammu Kashmir Campaign.

Launched on April 11, 2026, the campaign aimed to mobilise society against drug abuse and included a padyatra led by the Lieutenant Governor across all 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sinha praised the SSF for its security planning, coordination and crowd management during the campaign, which covered urban centres, remote rural areas and mountainous regions.
