LEH, Sept. 2 -- Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Tuesday flagged off the inaugural edition of Ladakh Bike Week 2026, a week-long tourism event aimed at promoting the Union Territory as a destination for motorcycle and adventure tourism.
Organised by the Department of Tourism, Ladakh, the event will run from September 1 to 7 and includes a motorcycle rally, a Himalayan basecamp and a vintage motorcycle exhibition.
A key feature of the programme is the Ladakh Motorcycle Rally, scheduled from September 1 to 3, in which 11 professional riders from different parts of the country are participating. The rally includes a route through eastern Ladakh, including the Galwan region.
