Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday expressed concern over ongoing conflicts and humanitarian crises in different parts of the world, saying the lack of unity and coordination among Muslim countries was ultimately harming poor and ordinary people.

Addressing a gathering in Srinagar, Abdullah voiced concern over violence, human rights violations and the loss of civilian lives in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and other regions. He said the killing of innocent children, women and elderly people, along with the destruction of hospitals, schools, universities and other essential infrastructure, was a matter of grave concern.
