Budgam, March 17 -- A labourer died after a slab suddenly collapsed and fell upon him in Central Kashmir's Budgam district on Monday.
News agency KNO reported that the man, identified as Tariq Ahmad Wani, son of Ali Mohammad Wani, of Zoolwa Chadoora, was working at a site in Panzipora area of Chadoora, when a slab fell on him. "He was pulled out from the debris and rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival," said an official.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident.
