JAMMU, Aug. 18 -- Labour Commissioner J&K Charandeep Singh on Tuesday reviewed the functioning of the Labour Department in Jammu division and directed officers to adopt a time-bound, target-oriented approach for improving implementation of key programmes and service delivery.
During the meeting, attended by the Deputy Labour Commissioner and Assistant Labour Commissioners, the Commissioner reviewed progress under Labour Codes, the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PMSYM) scheme, grievance redressal mechanisms, pending quasi-judicial and court cases, and services delivered under the Public Services Guarantee Act.
