Leh, March 25 -- Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena today visited the Hall of Fame and laid a wreath at the war memorial, paying homage to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.
The Lieutenant Governor was received by General Officer Commanding (GOC) 14 Corps Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla. On the occasion, Shri Saxena saluted the supreme sacrifice of the bravehearts who guarded the nation's borders under extremely harsh and hostile conditions. He stated that the sacrifices made by the soldiers while defending the country against enemy forces must always be remembered with gratitude and respect.
