Srinagar, March 1 -- The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across parts of Baramulla and Anantnag districts in view of maintenance works on several 33 kV transmission lines.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, the shutdown of the 33 kV Delina-Sopore Tap line and 33 kV Baramulla-II line will affect power supply to Krankshivan Colony, Baba Raza, Amargarh, Wogub, Old Town, Tawheed Gunj, Drangbal, Jalsheeri, Sheeri, Heewan, Zogiyar and adjoining areas from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on March 3, 2026.
Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 kV Wanpoh SICOP line will impact electricity supply to Veer, Srigufwara, Zirpara, Shamsipora and the Bijbehara SICOP areas along with ne...
