Srinagar, Aug. 14 -- Srinagar is set to witness a series of scheduled power shutdowns this month as the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) undertakes maintenance and upgradation works on multiple 33 KV lines under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) and other projects.
The planned outages, affecting several areas across Pampore, Khanda, Chattergam, and adjoining localities, will take place on different dates between August 14 and August 23, 2025.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out stringing of conductor under RDSS, shutdown of 33KV Khanda Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Khanda shall remain off while power supply to Chattergam, Magr...
