Srinagar, May 14 -- Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas across Kashmir division from May 16 to May 25 due to maintenance and line works.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, shutdown of the 33 KV Sheeri Baramulla-2nd line will affect power supply to Old Town, Azad Gunj, Janbazpora, Jalsheeri, Tawheedgunj, PHE, Irrigation, Zogiyar, Fatehgarh, STC and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 19 and 21.

Shutdown of the 33 KV LJHP Uri line will affect Salamabad, NHPC, MES, TFC, Garkote, Balkote, Bandi, Uri, Mohura, Rampur, Bani, Bihjama, Dhani and adjoining areas from 9 AM to 3 PM on May 20 and 23.
