SRINAGAR, June 19 -- Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across several districts of Kashmir to facilitate maintenance and repair works on various 33 kV transmission lines.
According to the department, a shutdown of the 33 kV GIS Tengpora-Exhibition (Tapline) Cargo portion will be observed on June 28, 2026. As a result, power supply to HSHS Market, Batamaloo, PCR Batamaloo, Firdousabad, Sarai Bala and adjoining areas will remain affected from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Similarly, shutdown of the 33 kV Wanpoh-Qazigund line and 33 kV Kulgam-Yaripora line will be observed on June 22, 2026. Consequently, power supply to Mir Bazar, Vessu, Qazigund, K...
