JAMMU, March 19 -- With the deadline for payment of water bills approaching on March 31, the Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr Devansh Yadav, issued comprehensive directives to ensure maximum public participation in clearing pending dues and to streamline the collection process across the city.
In line with these directions, the Jal Shakti Department, particularly Divisions 1 and 2 functioning within the jurisdiction of JMC, launched a widespread awareness and facilitation campaign. As part of this initiative, 12 dedicated camps have been established at various locations across Jammu to educate residents about the importance of timely payment of water charges and to provide convenient on-the-spot payment facilities.
