GANDERBAL, May 14 -- The J&K Sports Council (JKSC) on Wednesday launched the Kashmir Champions Football League (KCFL) trials at Ganderbal, marking the beginning of a district-wide football talent identification drive across the Kashmir Valley.

Youth from across the district participated in large numbers, registering and competing with enthusiasm, reflecting the growing demand for structured sporting platforms at the grassroots level.

Officials said the KCFL trial roadmap spans every district of Kashmir - from Kupwara to Kulgam and Baramulla to Shopian - to ensure that no deserving athlete is denied an opportunity.
