Jammu, March 5 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) on Thursday organised a three-day Women Painters' Camp at Kala Kendra, Jammu, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare, to mark the celebrations of International Women's Day.

The camp, being held from March 5 to March 7, is based on the theme "Give to Gain," which also reflects the theme of International Women's Day 2026.

Secretary JKAACL Harvinder Kour inaugurated the painting camp. In her address, she said the initiative aims to highlight the various dimensions of women's lives through creative art and provide a platform for women artists to express their thoughts, experiences and perspectives through painting.
