BARAMULLA, Sept. 4 -- Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar on Thursday laid the foundation stone for an Rs 18 crore road project under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in Baramulla district.

The project involves construction and maintenance of the road from L075-Bomina-Harwan-Zaloora to Yamberzaewari and will be executed by the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Roads Development Agency (JKRRDA), Baramulla Division.

According to officials, the project is aimed at providing improved all-weather road connectivity to residents and enhancing access to essential services, markets and economic opportunities.
