Jammu, Aug. 22 -- Tribal Affairs Minister Javed Ahmed Rana on Friday reviewed the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Vikas Yojana (PMVDVY) in Jammu and Kashmir, with a focus on the formation and functioning of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under the scheme.
During the meeting, Rana assessed the financial and physical progress achieved under the programme and reviewed efforts aimed at creating livelihood opportunities for tribal communities through value addition and better utilisation of forest-based resources.
