Jammu, Sept. 4 -- Janmashtami was celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm across several districts of Jammu region on Friday, with thousands of devotees participating in temple gatherings, Shobha Yatras and other religious events amid elaborate arrangements by the district administrations.
In Samba district, large numbers of devotees thronged the historic Narsingh Temple at Ghagwal, where festivities were marked by devotional programmes and a traditional fair featuring local handicrafts, indigenous products and cultural attractions.
