Jammu/Srinagar, March 16 -- Youth from Jammu and Kashmir delivered an impressive performance at the regional level of the prestigious IndiaSkills Competition, securing 24 recognitions, including two gold, three silver and seven bronze medals, besides 12 Medallions for Excellence.

The competition is organised by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and serves as India's premier platform for identifying and nurturing talented youth across various vocational trades. It also acts as the national selection platform for the global WorldSkills Competition, widely regarded as the "Olympics of Skills."
