J&K Police accords warm welcome to Amarnath pilgrims in Ganderbal, Anantnag
SRINAGAR, July 3 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday accorded a warm welcome to pilgrims entering Ganderbal and Anantnag districts with the commencement of the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026, assuring them of comprehensive security and public facilitation arrangements.
In Ganderbal, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports, Science & Technology and ARI & Trainings Satish Sharma, Deputy Inspector General of Police, North Kashmir Range Maqsood-ul-Zaman, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Kishore and Senior Superintendent of Police Sudhanshu Dhama welcomed the pilgrims and wished them a safe, peaceful and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage.
