New Delhi, May 23 -- Jammu and Kashmir House on Saturday unveiled newly redeveloped VVIP accommodation facilities aimed at strengthening hospitality infrastructure for dignitaries visiting the national capital.
Resident Commissioner Ramesh Kumar inaugurated the modernised fourth floor of C-Block in the presence of Additional Resident Commissioner Anil Kumar Sharma and senior officers of the Resident Commission.
Officials said the redevelopment was undertaken after the reorganisation of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, following which A and B Blocks of the complex were transferred to the Union Territory of Ladakh, leaving J&K with only the ageing C-Block and reduced accommodation capacity.
