India, Sept. 22 -- Jammu and Kashmir government led by Omar Abdullah is fully committed to addressing the challenges posed by the recent record rainfall, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary said on Sunday, as he visited flood and landslide-affected areas in the Dhansal block here.
He directed the local revenue officials to prepare a detailed report on the losses and submit it to the District Commissioner's office to facilitate the prompt distribution of compensation to those affected.
