Srinagar, May 17 -- Jammu and Kashmir government has approved used water management projects worth over Rs 72 crore for Baramulla and Rajouri districts to strengthen sanitation infrastructure, ensure scientific sewage treatment, and improve public health, officials said on Saturday.

The government approved Used Water Management Projects for Baramulla and Rajouri at an estimated cost of Rs 37.96 crore and Rs 34.43 crore respectively, they said.

The projects are aimed at strengthening sanitation infrastructure and addressing waste water management challenges in the two urban areas.
