Srinagar, Aug. 14 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved the Chief Minister's Digital Internship Programme 2026 (Batch-I), a six-month paid initiative aimed at providing students with practical experience in technology and digital governance.

The programme, to be implemented by the J&K e-Governance Agency, is open to students pursuing BE/B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology.

According to officials, selected interns will work on real-world GovTech projects and gain exposure to areas such as digital governance, cybersecurity and digital services.
