JAMMU, Oct. 25 -- Around 5,000 Congress leaders and workers from Jammu and Kashmir will participate in a mega rally at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi on November 1 as part of the party and INDIA bloc's "Vote Bachao-Desh Bachao" campaign against alleged "vote chori".
The announcement was made by senior Congress leaders at a press conference at the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan, Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu.
PCC Working President Raman Bhalla, former minister Mula Ram, chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Jammu Urban District Congress Committee (DCC) president Yogesh Sawhney, Jammu Rural DCC president Neeraj Kundan and headquarters in-charge Ved Mahajan, a former MLC, addressed the press conference.
